next 15 days. The Union Minister for Road transport and High ways has revealed some Key points of the vehicle scrapping policy.
New policy aiming to boost the Auto industry which was facing a slow down before pandemic .
Under the new vehicle scrapping policy personal vehicles will undergo a fitness test after 20 years and and commercial vehicle will be done after 15 years in the Government approved vehicles fitness center’s. As a result 50000 new jobs and investments of 10000 crore are expected to be generated and 1 crore ageing v vehicle will be put for scrap
In the coming years the Automobile industry is going to benefit this policy and will offer maximum number of employments in the near future.
For those who are planning to buy new vehicles will be offered benefits to phase out old and polluting vehicles .
Due to this there will be an increase sales of new vehicles that’s are much less impact on the pollution .There will good number of vehicles will go for scrap once the policy gets implemented and encourage new buyers to take less polluting vehicles and Electric vehicles.
